Two days, one cabin in Waterton, + a whole lot of love.
Part one of Mikey + Danielle's wedding was on a sun-kissed Saturday. They found a spot sheltered from the wind in the middle of the forest to say their vows + exchange rings in front of nine of their loved ones. There was a ring warming ceremony + two of their dogs exploring between between the trees + handmade bouquets. After their first kiss as husband + wife + all the hugging that followed, we wandered through the forest + to a clearing with a view of the mountains to take photos. Then they concluded their wedding day with toasts + dinner in their family cabin, sharing food + laughter.
Part two is lovingly referred to as their Hurricane Reception. The live music + Mexican buffet were accompanied by lots of wind and occasional rain, but everyone just threw on extra layers + danced the night away. We had so much fun celebrating with the newly weds + their friends + family, drinking + singing + teasing Mikey + Danielle until they agreed to have a first dance in front of everyone. We even got to witness the groom shotgunning a beer for the first time.
Needless to say, we are very grateful to have spent these two days with this incredible couple. It was ear-to-ear smiles the entire experience, including our editing process when we got to relive the days over again. These two are fun + adventurous + generous + so loved by everyone who knows them. And they really know how to put together a beautiful + insanely fun wedding.
